Cross-country skiing to Tower Falls, Yellowstone

A winter foray into northern Yellowstone

This weekend we rented some cross country gear from Round House Ski Shop in Bozeman and journeyed to Yellowstone National Park. After some scouting online, it seemed like the biggest bang for the buck for new cross country skiers, which we are, was the five-mile out-and-back to Tower Falls. The falls were caked in ice and incredibly beautiful. Upon our return, we made some buffalo friends near Mammoth Springs.
