RAV4 overlanding near Zion

We’ve started our nomad year in earnest and our second stop after Bozeman, Montana, is good ol’ La Verkin, Utah. This puts us in a great position to make sorties into the twisting and bizarre red rock formations near Zion National Park. We didn’t have a plan on our first weekend here other than getting onto some red dirt roads to test out our RAV4 and all the new gear. This is a bit of a gear-focused video, but we’ll also show you a great camping spot on BLM land if you find yourself in the area and a great hike to do the next day in Kolob Canyon.
